1016資訊組織課堂心得

今天是兩週一次的實作課，於５Ａ上課。但是因為事前沒有先看好課程安排表，我還是帶了電腦去學校。事後發現這件事的時候，很後悔前一天沒有好好先看隔天要上課的教室，害得自己重的半死卻白帶電腦到學校去。所以好好＂預習＂是必要的。

這次實作課是把上週的作業複製下來，以這學期會用到的教科書為例，一一寫出其編目的詳細內容。在寫這次作業時，其時碰到很多難點，因為每一家出版社所用的敘述方法不一，連詳列的條目也不一樣，時常要想很久才能決定應該把它擺在哪一個條目之下。而且通過這次實作我發現，其實書籍最後面的版權頁總是寫得很簡單，很多詳細的－－例如書籍大小，頁數等等－－都沒有寫出來，必須要自己去計算查找。所以我覺得編目真的不是件容易的事情，尤其是要詳細的編目，很多項目必須＂親力而為＂的去尋找。

今天老師讓我們詳細的對照中國編目規則第三版和Anglo-American Cataloging Rules 2nd edition ，以中英對照的方式查看其差異。並依照中國編目規則裡寫的標點符號運用，替每一個項目加上標點符號。最後得出的結果是中國編目規則比AACR多了拓片，AACR則比中國編目規則多了兩項，而且在可以算是同項目的中英文意義上也有所差異。這堂課不僅讓我們認識了中國編目規則第三版和Anglo-American Cataloging Rules 2nd edition的詳細條目，也增進了我們的英文知識（為了看懂AACR的條目），並讓我們有實際操作整理的機會，獲益良多。

0925上課心得

今天正式進入正題——編目，主要講的內容是中國編目規則第三版 - 項、細目、著錄層次、標點符號等等。在中國編目規則中有詳細的敘述告訴讀者編目的要件，如：題名及著者、敘述項、版本項、資料特殊細節項、出版項、稽核項、集叢項、附註項、標準號碼及其他必要記載項等，以利編目進行。另外因為調課的關係，五、六節也同樣是毛老師的課。下午我們於5A上課，便於我們嘗試去上網查詢圖書資料、比較，然後分類出其著錄層次——也就是這周的作業。在實際查詢的過程中，我發現編目其實很繁瑣——因為必須讓讀者一目了然，所以必須詳細條列，缺一不可。

另外課堂上也有展示出中古世紀時期教堂裡的藏書圖片，因為當時書本的稀缺，害怕被拿走或損毀，所以都是用鐵鍊一本本的拴住，只能在固定座位上觀看。因為紙張和印刷術還沒有蓬勃發展，又因為當時時局的動盪不安，在當時，失去一本書，可能就會讓人類文明缺了一角。這對於生活在擁有各式各樣書籍的時代的我們，是多麼令人訝異的一件事情！
